Runways: Liquorice Fashion

Spice Couture isn't the only collectin to debut recently. HollyOaksRocks*'s Liquorice premiered the last day of July, with fashion that I can see myself wearing. The style is NastyGal.com meets Topshop, and the theme is the most original thing I have seen in a while. 

I love maxi dresses this summer and I think a strapless one is great because
with all that maxi dresses hide, you get a little skin going with your back
and shoulders. The colors are beautiful, although they remind of that LE
collection from a while back, remember the one?

This is something I can see myself wearing on an exotic vacation or sporting
around the streets of tropical Miami. It's chic, it's sexy, and its beautiful!

First off, the ombre hair has already got me biased towards this outfit in a
positive way. Although I wouldn't wear the pieces myself, they go together
in perfect harmony, especially the sleeves with the Doc Martens. Love it!

Runways: Spice Couture Debut

Spice Couture has recently made its Debut into the stardoll world. I felt intense 70's inspiration and completely fell in love with the collection! From the fiery red leggings to the daisy print leggings, this collection totally says 21st century disco!

What: The exclusive, invite-only preview of the new 'History of Fashion' Museum in Starwaii, opening tomorrow.

The previous PBE was beautiful! It was creative, the graphics were very professional and stunning, and the writing and fashion was great! It would have been borderline 4/5 stars. But this time around, sadly I must give it a 2 star rating (although it was inbetween 2 and 3) because the graphics were such a let-down! Especially in the hair category. However, I really did love the beauty articles which is why it was close to the average 3 star rating. 

Here are some of the pages:

The proportions and shape are off with the arm, the hair is terrible,
and the clothes is quite bland! Terrible!

I like the design concept and the creativity shown here. I'm
a little bit confused regarding the hair, as with the weird
crooked left leg and the dress needs shading!

I love the design and the creativity  on this one. The pose
is proportional and clean. Not sure what is going on with the
face and hair, though! And the dress is beautiful in design
but needs some more shading.

Overall, I just hope the next issue will come back from this low point and be as good as the stunning April edition. I was really disappointed this time around but still am eager to see the team make a great next issue because from previous editions, I know they have it in them!

Magazines: Sneak Peak of Loud Magazine

xxLovexx has just revealed a page of the net edition of Loud! I love it! The face shading is a little odd, I must say, and so is the shape of the dress. But overall I love it, and cannot wait until Loud will be released!

I love the July issue of Vogue. The fashion is so gorgeous and edgy. The models are simply stunning! And the photographers are very talented. It was quite unfortunate that I had to knock off a star, but the reason was that there was only one article in the entire issue!

V&K presents stardoll's most interactive website besides SD itself! A website where you can see V&K's clothes for women, men, and accessories. You can see what SD celebs wore Klaus, you can see 'about' V&K, the beautiful runways, V&K's favorite music, and coming soon, V&K fragrance!

In fact, they have an online shop so now YOU can wear their minimalistic and trendy clothes!

Magazines: Splendid Releases New Edition!

Splendid magazine released yet another issue! I have to say, the graphics weren't too impressive except in the Fashion Editorial. However, the fashion was on-trend and beautiful, and the articles were great. I really did enjoy this latest edition! Click here to read it.

Vogue Magazine's May 2012 Cover Starring Jelinna

 Vogue magazine is a rising magazine in stardoll that is famous mostly for it's gorgeous fashion.

Likes: I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fashion featured in the magazine. It is deserving of the 'Vogue' title! The graphics, though not extraordinary, were well done, and I especially love how the cover was shaded.

Dislikes: The length! Better a bimonthly issue that has more than the 13 pages this one has! Although stardoll magazines take a lot of work, the minimum amount of pages needed for a 'solid' magazine would be 20 or more. It may also have been that I was yearning for more stylish pages of this magazine! Also, the non-stardoll-graphic pages did not have good layout.

Magazines: PBE with a Gorgeous Artistic Editorial!

I'm going to be honost. Stardoll magazines lately can get a little bit too similar, but PBE Magazine really stood out to me, specially it's fashion editorial. It's a russian magazine, so unfortunately I couldn't actually read it, but this editorial has got to be my favorite stardoll editorial in the history of all magazines. It's not only the amazing graphic work; they're great, but a lot of magazines have great graphic technique lately. It was the colors, the originality that I haven't seen in a while.
